Kuruculuğunu Yalova Zübeyde Hanım Ortaokulu fen bilimleri öğretmeni Eylem Köz MARKİRT ile Osnovna škola Šimuna Kožičića okulu/ Hırvatistan Fizik öğretmeni Sanja IVANAC'ın gerçekleştirdiği 'We explore space with stem' adlı uluslararası eTwinning projesine okulumuz fen bilimleri öğretmeni SEDA KARA yürütücülüğünde dahil olduk.

 The international eTwinning project 'We explore space with stem', founded by Yalova Zübeyde Hanım Secondary School science teacher Eylem Köz MARKİRT and Osnovna škola Šimuna Kožičića school / Croatia Physics teacher Sanja IVANAC, is our school science teacher we got involved under the direction of SEDA KARA.

Stem; Çağdaş, iyi donanımlı, gelişen teknolojilere hakim, matematik okuryazarı, belirlenen hedefler çerçevesinde kendini iyi ifade edebilen, analitik düşünebilen, yaratıcı bireyler yetiştirmek açısından birçok faydası olan bir eğitim yaklaşımıdır.

Türkiye'den 10, Moldova Cumhuriyeti'nden 3, Arnavutluk, Bulgaristan, İspanya, Hırvatistan, Kuzey Makedonya, İtalya,  Litvanya, Polonya, Slovenya ve Yunanistan'dan 1okulun yer aldığı bu projenin temel amacı, bu eğitim yaklaşımını (STEM) ortaokul fen bilimleri astronomi ünitesi ile bütünleştirmek ve uzay konusunu daha anlaşılır kılmaktır.

Yaşadığımız çağa uygun bireyler yetiştirmek eğitimin temel amaçlarından biri olmalıdır. Proje bu hedef doğrultusunda oluşturulmuştur.

Stem; It is an educational approach that has many benefits in terms of raising modern, well-equipped, developing technology-savvy individuals who are mathematically literate, who can express themselves well within the framework of determined goals, who can think analytically, and who are creative.

The main aim of this project, which includes 10 schools from Turkey, 3 schools from the Republic of Moldova, 1 school from Albania, Bulgaria, Spain, Croatia, North Macedonia, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Slovenia and Greece, is to introduce this educational approach (STEM) to secondary school science. to integrate it with the astronomy unit and to make the subject of space more understandable.

Raising individuals suitable for the age we live in should be one of the main aims of education. The project was created in line with this goal.
